SCUDETTO CELEBRATIONS…IT’S 34!

Having mathematiccaly won the league on Monday, after Napoli’s defeat in Rome, it’s a Sunday of celebration at the Famous Three Kings. The day begins with the home win against Carpi for 2-0, played at 11:30 UK time. Even though the celebrations are planned for the late afternoon a few people decide to stay at the pub to begin celebrating the fifth scudetto in a row. The Three Kings starts filling up at around 5pm and the singing finally begins: “siamo noi, siamo noi, i campioni dell’Italia siamo noi!”. The celebrations go on until the evening when those who still haven’t left decide to end the day by waving around the black and white flags in Piccadilly Circus. The group heads off to Baron’s Court station where by tube they reach the West End. Piccadilly Circus become black and white with the flags and scarves waving in the centre of the square, ending on a high note what has been an amazing day of celebrations.
